iLoveSchools.com Matches Teacher Needs to Donors
Your Guide to Freebies.

If you are a teacher or, if you know a teacher, then you know how
difficult it is to obtain the supplies needed to effectively run
a classroom. Teachers often end up purchasing supplies out of their
own pocket and even then frequently can’t get everything the
classroom needs.
Fortunately, there are companies and individuals who understand
the need and are willing to help, but they sometimes have a hard
time knowing what schools need their help. That is where iLoveSchools.com
comes in. iLoveSchools.com offers a totally free service to match
up teacher needs to those willing to donate materials and supplies.
iLoveSchools.com has a database of 100,000 schools. If a teacher
from a school that is not listed registers, iLoveSchools.com verifies
that the school exists.
Once teachers register they can post a list of what they need.
Teachers can help improve the odds that they will get the supplies
they requested if they take the initiative and get the word out
about the site and their needs list. They can start by letting parents
know and encouraging them to network and get the word out also.
Teachers might also want to contact local businesses individually,
or through the local chamber of commerce. Suggesting that the Chamber
provide a link on their website or in their newsletter could be
very productive.
The main focus of iLoveSchools.com is helping pre-K-12 schools,
but any educators including those in home schools, daycare centers,
Head Start centers and adult education centers are welcome to register.
Those that are looking to make donations can search by school name,
city, state, zip code, needs category, specific needs, or any combination
of those fields. Donors can also register to receive notification
when teachers from a particular school make a request.
iLoveSchools.com was created and is operated by eWebLab,
a Web design and hosting company.
