Goals:

I believe every student who comes in my room can learn to read. I respect that they come from different backgrounds, with unique abilities, interests, and priorities. My job is to take them as high as they can go. I work hard to ensure that I am teaching each student as an individual. For many of my students, education is their one chance to overcome poverty. As an educator of young children, it is my responsibility to make students life-long learners. I make my classroom as inviting, warm, safe, and fun as possible because I understand how important it is for students to get off on the right foot with school. I also extend an invitation to families to participate in childrens' education, because they are their child's first teacher.
