Who We Help - Schools

iLoveSchools.com is an online WishList toolkit schools use to equip their site and classrooms with new, gently used and in-kind donated resources. Every student in the school can benefit – at zero cost to the school or teacher.

Types of Schools

iLoveSchools.com supports all teachers and educators serving pre-K through 12th grade students within the United States. Anywhere students are taught iLoveSchools.com is there to assist educators by encouraging a life-long love of learning.

Homeschools affiliated with accredited certifying agencies and homeschool co-ops are welcome to join iLoveSchools.com. Donations are made to the co-op which will then discern how those resources will be used among all co-op members.

Using iLoveSchools.com in Your School

Once registered, the school receives a unique, custom home page located at a permanent iLoveSchools.com web address i.e. http://iloveschools.com/school/MySchool Promoting the home page to parents and other local and national donors is easy. iLoveSchools.com provides widgets, banners, logos and text links for use on the district website, in newsletters and in email-based announcements.

Individual teachers and districts can also create their own home page and WishLists, utilizing iLoveSchools.com in much the same way as schools.

How it Works

Create WishLists

School representatives shop in our store to build WishLists of needed new resources. Items not found in our store are requested through custom WishLists.

WishList Fulfillment

Donors give some or all of the WishList cost. Once funded, we purchase and ship the items directly to the school.

Accept a Donation

Schools use the DonorOffer board to receive new or gently used goods, as well as in-kind services like volunteers, job shadow or internship opportunities offered by donors. These resources may or may not be on the school's WishLists.

Recurring Donations

Donors seeking to give on a regular basis can give a school monthly iLoveSchools.com credits for any length of time.

Share School Resources

Schools can create a DonorOffer of resources such as furniture, technology or supplies to share with any school in the district or with other local or regional schools.

Additional Capabilities

School Donation Standards – Schools can post guidelines of technology and other donation standards to educate schools, teachers as well as boosters and other donors of minimal and ideal item-qualities.

Reporting – Schools use online reporting capabilities keeping them apprised of all donation activities for the school and all teachers.

Security – To prevent potential fraud, all donations are only transported to Gold Star district and school addresses in our database.

Involving the PTA or PTO

School booster groups use iLoveSchools.com to help their school communicate needs and fulfill school and teacher WishLists. Our centralized, easy-to-use and portable system simplifies fundraising activities from year to year.
